This information page is designed to provide a little information as to how we work and what we aim to bring to your day.
Firstly and primarily we are photographers who over a period of time were repeatedly asked who they could recommend to provide some video coverage.
As it is sometimes the case that the Photographer and Videographer, from different companies, do not work well together, we added a video service which seeks to catch the most important elements of the day, the Ceremony, (from the moment of the brides arrival next to the groom to the announcement "you are now Husband & Wife") Speeches and First Dance. These elements are incorporated in a DVD movie, up to 60 minutes in length, together with still photography if required. The movie has a title sequence at each end and can be set to music.
Our experience has taught us that the ceremony, speeches and first dance are best captured on the video camera. We will always take still photographs of the first dance and the ceremony if allowed. We have to defer to the Registrar, Vicar or Priest with regard to what we are allowed to do, however, we always make contact with them on the day to introduce ourselves and to discuss with them the rules for the day. Once we are in position we do not move around the Registry office or Church.
All our services provide our clients with all the photography taken on the day in the fee paid. There is then a choice of Albums, Photobooks or a combinations of both to satisfy our clients requirements within budget.
We are happy to start work at the venue of choice of our clients such as the Brides House or the Wedding Venue and offer 8 hours of our time from the time we agree with the client we are to start work.
We seek to maximise the number of photographs on the day so to Capture the Day as much as time allows. We will also ensure that the Bride & Groom are given the opportunity to relax during the formal part of the photography. We will suggest, subject to time allowing, that we spend a short time with the couple away from the main weeding party to catch some photographs of the couple in a more relaxed atmosphere. We will not take photographs during the Wedding Breakfast so as to give the couple some time to relax.
Part of our service is to request a space, usually in the same room as the Wedding Breakfast to set up our Laptop and Printers. The aim is to transfer the photography onto our Laptop to allow for the Bride and Groom together with guests to view the photographs. We can also print photographs for guests and once we have fulfilled our clients requirement take photographs for guests which they can purchase.
Our focus on the day is to bring your memories back to you without undue delay. As a general rule your photo disc and DVD movie will be posted to you within 4 working days of the Wedding with Photobooks generally being delivered within a couple of weeks.
We will contact our clients approximately one month before the wedding day to discuss the day so our clients will know exactly what to expect of us and what has been agreed for the day. We thoroughly enjoy our work and will be happy to provide advice when requested.
